Out of all of these images, you will never hear a positive thing said about a blackman. Day after day, Black men are bombarded with these sterotypical images of how society expects a blackman to act in a society that use to lynch, burn, and castrate black males by the dozens. yet, we have a black president that represents all ethnicities accept the one he tends to ignore on a daily basis, the blackman!
Blackmen have struggled to build kingdoms for his black queens to live in, but when the world is against him, and his black queen decides to turn against him. then he starts to realize that the whole world wants him dead.
Feminism is the number one killer of good blackmen! and it is also the destruction of the black race altogether by white society. because of this theory, black men are not allowed to become men, but to submit to hatred and anti-male statements quoted by "some" African-American women who feel that black men have done them wrong in some way. if a sister feels entitled to speak her mind on why blackmen disrespect black women, she never asks herself why do blackwomen disrespect black men? but to simply put the problems on the male and blame his masculenity is a cop out of her responsibilities to what led to the problems in the first place.
if an African-American woman acts in a disparinging way towards a black man, she thinks she is entitled to do it to a blackman because she is A STRONG BLACK WOMAN! and if he cant handle her then he is considered a weak blackman!
I have seen too many good brothers go through this problem, but I realized after all these years. it was never my fault. but our fault as a community as to why blackmen have been belittled by black women. the cycle starts at the root of the black family. and that root begins with the father. An eventhough, I live in a two parent home, most of the blackmen and black women I have ran into have not.
Here is my example of the deadly cycle
1. black child is born out of wedlock to parents aged 15-20.
2. Black Father is either unemployeed or lives on section 8 housing vouchers.
3. Black father has either a G.E.D or is employeed at minmum wage
4. black father has got another woman pregnant or has cheated on his girlfriend
5. black father leaves his girl a single mother and sends money for child support
6. Black mother is forced to live on welfare and WIC to support her childern and also public assistence.
7.young black girl/boy is raised by single mother and rarely sees his/her father
8. young black girl/boy becomes a teen in high school and goes after guys/girls that constantly get into trouble in school.
9. boys look for father figures in the street that can help them become a man
10. girls look for boys in school that remind them of their fathers that left them
11.in middle school to college, girls put down boys and tease them for not looking like a lil wayne or an athlete.
12. by 17 girls start to sleep and fall in love with a guys that have a criminal record and go in and out of jail and do not have a high school diploma.
13. girls get pregnant by this guy and she is now a teen mom.
14. black women in college 18 to 21 go after atheletes as opposed to engineers or people studying to get an advance degree.
15. black women decide to lable the less desirable black men "NICE GUYS" because in their minds they dont represent a thug, an athelete, or a well six pack chisled black man with muscular features.
16. black women get the perfect black man and decide that she will not submit or comfort him
17. she decides to start drama by thowing things and instigating arguements in order to see his rage.
18. black man either ends the relationship or cheats because of her baggage and she becomes more bitter.
19. she dislikes dating blackmen or distrust blackmen altogether.
20. every mistake a black man makes with her she is quick to end the relationship before it even starts, even at a minor incident.
21. she starts to resent all black men by age 40
22. she finds a nice hard working average black man to spew her baggage on and becomes her doormat for healing past relationships
23. if she is a single mother, she gets a nice hard working blackman to raise her kids and marry him while she stays in contact with her ex-baby's father
24. nice black men are talked down on by the media, by white america, and by barack obama, worst of all black women.
25. the media always puts out that blackmen are criminals, abusers, cheaters, and deadbeat dads.
I didnt write this article as a bashing or a belittlement of African-American women, I am pointing out the facts. the problems lay within our community and it is up to us to solve them.
I dont wanna hear from another sister black men are abusers, blackmen are cheaters, black men are gay and on the down low, all blackmen got to jail or anything like that.
I find it insulting that a sista would say there are no good blackmen, but they are every where, dirving a bus, collecting your garbage,cleaning your houses and fixing your plumbing. and they are also in school getting degrees and making a stable living for themselves. and all they ask for is a woman to stand by their side and apprecieate them for who they are and not what society paint them out to be. these guys deserve a woman in their lives, and if you dont want to stand by them then who will?
if we are going to end the problem of negative sterotypes and the entitlement complex of African-American women you must start admitting your faults and stop blaming us for the problems of individual people who you've encountered in the past. and you also must drop the unrealistic expectations that blackmen must live up to in your eyes.
